Covid Update & More December 2020
Note: Our 800# is experiencing technical difficulties at this time! See below for more info!
Well, what a year it has been - and it's not quite over yet! Most of you have been affected in some way by this pandemic, including some of us losing a long time friend or two.
We remind everyone that even though there are a couple of vaccines that have been introduced, with one in use already, we must all be diligent in practising good pandemic protocols of:
• Wear a Mask
• Safe Distance
• Stay at Home if you are exhibiting any Covid symptoms
• Wash Your Hands Often
• Respect Others
By adhereing to these protocols we'll surely reach the end of this horrible time sooner than later.
At MVP Sports we decided very early on that we would only operate by postal delivery or by pre-arranged curbside pickup this year. We appreciate all of our customers, past, present and future who have agreed with us and encouraged us to maintain our protocols.
As such we will be maintaining these protocols for the foreseeable future, or at least until enough people have had the vaccine and it is safe to get back to whatever the new normal holds in store for us in 2021.
So, 2020 being what it is, we also experienced a rash of email issues, such that some have had some difficulty getting hold of us. We can happily say that as of Monday the 14th of December we believe our email issues are behind us! That was a big Phew!
We are also pleased to announce that relatively decent hispeed has finally reached the boonies here in Cobourg! We will be revising our website over the winter and adding some new features that we think you will enjoy. Stay tuned!
Finally, some of you have been trying to reach us by our 800# these past few weeks. Unfortunately, when we got our new hispeed, it somehow triggered a reaction that, for the second time in a year, took our 800# off line. I have spent untold hours speaking with Bell reps trying to get our Toll Free number back in service to no avail. At 9 different technicians I am still well shy of the number it took last last year to have a working 800# again. I am hoping to shatter that record and get up and running before I reach the current 19 techie record.
In the meantime we would ask all of our customers to reach out to us via our email should you have any questions - especially now that we have working email!
Brenda and I wish each and every one of you a Happy and Safe Holiday, and all the best for the coming year!
